Sir D's Catering is always accepting applications for Banquet Servers, Bartenders & Service Staff!

Our service staff work on a part-time, per diem basis throughout the year and are essential team players when it comes to achieving our goals! Special events you can anticipate services include Weddings, Social events such as private parties, and Corporate affairs. As all of our events are unique and meaningful to our clients, we expect our team to provide only the highest level of customer service. 

Here's what we look for in our service staff:

Banquet Servers

  • Ability to follow directions as provided by the Head Chef and Management Team

  • Perform set-up and tear-down of guest tables (including linens, place settings, etc) and various food stations & displays

  • Ability to stand for long periods; includes carrying/lifting trays and catering equipment (up to 50lbs)

  • Maintain knowledge of and comply with all Sir D's policies, procedures, and service standards

  • Ability to anticipate guest's needs and respond promptly in a professional manner

  • Reliable means of transportation to up to an hour from our facility in New Cumberland, PA

  • Flexible schedule; includes days, nights, weekends, and some holidays

  • Banquet serving experience is not required, but preferred

Bartenders

  • RAMP Certified 

  • Perform set-up and tear-down of banquet bars

  • Maintain a clean workspace

  • Ability to follow directions provided by the Management Team

  • Maintain knowledge of and comply with all Sir D's and Venue policies and procedures regarding the service of alcohol

  • Ability to comply with all laws and regulations regarding the service of alcohol in the state of PA

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time; includes carrying and lifting bar equipment and large quantities of alcohol 

  • Full knowledge of drink recipes

  • Ability to work alongside others in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professional service standards

  • Reliable means of transportation to up to an hour from our facility in New Cumberland, PA

  • Flexible schedule; includes days, nights, weekends, and some holidays

  • Must have at least 2 years experience in bartending in a banquet environment
