Wondering how our Wedding process works?
Sir D's Catering prides ourselves in good communication with our Couples and want you to know what to expect for your Wedding planning!
Initial meeting
In person or phone meeting to gather details of your big day and discuss more in detail the package that fits your needs the most.
Shortly after our Initial meeting we will take the information discussed and put together a tentative itemized proposal for your wedding day.
Tastings
Tastings are offered for all of our Wedding Packages. Tastings do vary depending on what package you are interested in. Please see below.
WE DO BBQ Packages- We offer quarterly tastings for our BBQ Wedding Packages. This tasting would be a scheduled day that we invite you in to taste a variety of our Wedding BBQ Food. We prepare this tasting as a buffet and do charge a small cover for any couples who would like to come in and enjoy the meal.
All-Inclusive Packages- We offer scheduled tastings. Once you have selected your style of service, you may choose to select up to 4 entrees(min. of 2) to taste off of that menu, along with 1 starch and 1 vegetable. Our tastings are priced $20.00 per entrée you would like us to prepare, and you may bring up to 6 people (including yourselves) to taste with you! At the conclusion of this tasting we answer any questions you may have pertaining to our food and services.
Booking with us
A 25% non-refundable deposit is tentatively due 1 month from our initial meeting to book your date and time. We are flexible with this deposit due date, and can move this around if needed.
We do encourage any wedding dates between June and November to book sooner, only because these wedding dates do fill up quickly and we don’t want you missing out on your date!
Once the deposit has been made, you have that date and time!
In the meantime
Although there are no scheduled meetings that we require throughout this time, we do strongly encourage all of our couples to keep in touch as details and questions always come up! Closer to your wedding day we will reach out and provide you with your Final Meeting Sheet to fill out with all your Final Wedding Day details and ask that you get it back to us to review for your final meeting.
Final Meeting
Your Wedding day is almost here!
We like to invite our couples in to have a sit-down meeting with us to go over ALL the details again to ensure everything is correct. Normally, this meeting is scheduled for the Monday, 5 days prior to your wedding date.
At this time, all final details and remaining balance will be due.
